This program is dedicated to one of the renowned french pianists and composers in the 20th century, Robert Casadesus. It also commits to the American Conservatory at "The Fontainebleau Schools" in France, where Mr. Casadesus was director there for three decades.
As one of the most renowned french pianists and composers in the 20th century, Robert Casadesus wrote numerous piano solo and chamber works. However, his works were not performed as frequently as other French composers nowadays.
His compositions reflect the tremendous influences from Debussy, Ravel, and Falla. The CD will mainly feature Casadesus's virtuosic piano works as well as other french composers' which presents the parallelized genre and styles with Casadesus.
This project is commissioned by Fontainebleau Schools in France.
